To ensure the best care and personalized treatment plan, all new patients must schedule a consultation before booking any services.
How to Prepare for Your Appointment

1. Avoid Sun Exposure
Stay out of direct sunlight for 5-7 days before your treatment. Protect your skin with SPF 30+ mineral sunscreen daily.2. Pause Certain Skincare Products
Stop using retinoids, AHAs/BHAs, benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, or other strong exfoliants for 5 days before your appointment.3. Hydrate Your Skin
Drink plenty of water and moisturize regularly to keep your skin healthy and ready for treatment.4. Skip Blood Thinners
For 5-7 days before your session, avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, or other blood-thinning supplements (unless prescribed) to minimize bruising.5. Avoid Alcohol & Caffeine
Skip alcohol and excessive caffeine for 24 hours before your appointment to help reduce swelling and bruising.6. Shave (If Needed)
If you’re treating an area with facial hair, gently shave the night before. No waxing, threading, or depilatory creams.7. Avoid Other Skin Treatments
Hold off on chemical peels, lasers, or strong facials for at least 2 weeks before your appointment.8. Arrive with Clean Skin
Come with a clean face — no makeup, lotions, or oils on the area being treated.9. Medical Considerations
If you get cold sores, let us know — you may need an antiviral prescription. We can’t treat areas with an active or healing cold sore, but we’ll happily reschedule.
Share any medications, recent treatments, or health concerns with your provider for a safe, effective session.

Accutane must be stopped for 6-12 months before treatment (consult your doctor for guidance). -
What type of laser do you use?
We only use the latest certified medical grade lasers for hair removal (not IPL). Most areas require 6 treatments to achieve 75% or more hair reduction. In general, we say 6-8 treatments are required to achieve 75% or more hair reduction. This can vary from person to person, treatment areas and skin type.How many treatments will I need?

Shave the area 24 hours before your visit — no waxing, tweezing, or sugaring for 3-4 weeks before or during treatments.
Avoid sun exposure for 2-4 weeks before and after. Use broad-spectrum mineral SPF if needed.
Pause retinol/Retin A for 3-5 days before and after treatment.
Tell us if you have a history of hyperpigmentation — a lightening cream may be needed beforehand.
Melasma? A pigment regulator is required 2-4 weeks before facial treatments.
Accutane must be stopped for 6-12 months before treatment (check with your doctor).
Photosensitive meds (e.g., antibiotics) should be avoided during treatments.
What if I get cold sores?
The laser’s heat may trigger cold sores. If you're prone to them, ask your doctor about anti-viral medication beforehand. We can’t treat areas with active breakouts. -
We use advanced laser technology, including PicoSure Pro, to safely and effectively remove tattoos. Since tattoo removal takes time, treatments are spaced 8 to 12 weeks apart to let your body break down the ink.
What to Expect:
